Kay Lee Bailey

Kay Lee Bailey, 74, passed away on December 20, 2020. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN on October 13, 1946, the daughter of the late Barbara and Kenneth Wollman. Kay graduated from Indiana University with a Master's Degree in Education. She taught in Fort Wayne Community Schools for 38 years and retired with South Wayne Elementary, where she herself had attended Elementary School. She loved her family, gardening, IU basketball and all animals, especially her own dogs. Surviving are her husband of 35 years, William "Bill" Bailey; children, Alison (Drew) Carlson and Ben Bailey; grandchildren, Kat and Will Carlson; brother, David (Lilian) Wollman; niece, Kelly (Eric) Bell; great-nieces, Makenzie (Robert) Ott and Madison (Connor Van Ooyen) Bell. Private family services will be held. Burial will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Ft. Wayne, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Allen County SPCA.
