

Kay L. Klopfenstein, 70, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024. Kay was born on February 24, 1954 in Lagrange County, Indiana, a daughter of the late Glenn and Thelma (Porter) Biddle. She graduated from Homestead High School, Fort Wayne. She worked for Trelleborg for more than 35 years in a number of capacities, most recently in shipping and receiving. In her free time, she enjoyed bowling, crocheting, and doing crossword puzzles. She's described as the most amazing mother anyone can ever have. Surviving family include her husband, Kevin Klopfenstein; children, Heather (Trey) Presley-Cowen; Misty (Rex) Todd, and Chris Fanning; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and siblings, Rose (Bob) Hunt and Terry (Jan) Biddle. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her former husband, Peter Brown. A memorial service will be 1:00 pm on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne with a gathering of family and friends beginning at 11:00 am.
