Kayla R. Pfeiffer

Kayla Rae Pfeiffer, 71, of New Haven, Indiana, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Kayla was born November 26, 1954, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Don George and Mary L. (Rinker) George. She married Barry Pfeiffer, who survives.

Kayla was a devoted homemaker who took great pride in caring for her home and family. In her free time, she enjoyed playing cards and spending time fishing, activities that brought her relaxation and joy.

She is survived by her husband, Barry W. Pfeiffer of New Haven; her daughter, Tera (Greg) Archbold; her grandchildren, Stephen, Ashley, Megan, Keagan, and Noah; and her great-granddaughter, Amelia. She is also survived by her sister, Kimm (Tom) Adams, and her nephew, Christopher Adams.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Matt Pfeiffer.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026, with calling from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804. Burial will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
