As a mother to a classmate and former substitute teacher, I knew Keihland. Prayers to his family and friends from the Engelman Family. Hard to accept and understand. He will be missed and touched many lives!

The service today was a great tribute to a wonderful young man. The number of young adults who spoke at the service and shared their memories was especially touching to me. I am guessing that most of these young adults it was the first time that they stood in front of a crowd that size and shared their personal thoughts. It showed how much they cared about their special friend and it showed how much Keihland cared about them. I knew that Keihland was a special person but the tribute they made confirmed my thoughts. Keihland will be missed but the footprints he left will live on in many peoples lives. I hope that those young adults will use this experience to help better their lives and make them stronger. Rest in Peace Keihland.
P.S. Keihland when you see grandpa Joe tell him I loved him.

He would go to the church my sister went to and hung out with her and talked to her about some things. I hated to hear all the pain he was going through and he was best friends with my friends and I hate to see them in that much pain. I hate to see him go and I wish he could’ve stayed to live a better and happier life. RIP Keihland Andrew Haft, you will always be remembered. It was like throwing a rock into a pond. That one rock will sink and go away forever. But those ripples will affect everything it knows and touches❣️❣️💔💔💔😭😭

Keihland and I were close throughout my 7th grade year. he always knew how to put a smile on my face. he was compassionate and loving. he trusted and loved with his entire heart and nothing less. he was honest and always knew how to make you smile. we would facetime and talk for hours every night. whenever i had a problem or wanted to vent he would listen. he always kept my head up when it got rough. his smile lit up the room. i love you keihland. you will forever be in my heart.

I wanted to say that I was saddened upon hearing off the loss of Keihland. I have only known Keihland for the past year, however every time I spoken with him he was always polite and courteous. I enjoyed talking about fishing and his love it. Keihland had a quick smile and a friendly nature. There are no words that i can express that will ease your sense of loss. Just know that Keihland will be missed.

I had the pleasure of working one on one with Keihland in my class at Woodside. It was truly a joy to see the amount of enthusiasm he put into woodworking and building model rockets. I enjoyed talking with him about life and always doing his best. My deepest condolences and prayers go out to this family and Keihland’s close friends who are mourning the loss of such a lively and talented young man.

The picture is a project that Keihland made for his mom. We talked quite a bit about his love And appreciation for her.

I remember at camp adventure we would always talk have fun, and when he felt sad I cheered him up but there was rarely, he made me laugh all the time and I did the same. At this time I was in a different school district and when I moved here I was expecting to see him but I didn't see him cause I went to summit. This year I was so excited to see him but couldn't find him, didn't hear his name till Sunday. And I cried.
