Keith Adams Lake, 86, of Fort Wayne passed away May 26, 2021 at his home. A lifelong resident of Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Earl and Ruth (Adams) Lake. Keith and his wife Wilma owned and operated Lake's Golden Rule Grocery at Nine Mile and Lake's Hardware in Hoagland. He loved playing cards with friends and puttering around the house. He never met a stranger and was always ready to lend a helping hand. In addition to his wife of 60 years, Wilma, he is survived by his daughters, Dianne (Thomas) May and Sandy (Brad) Kennedy; grandchildren, Simon (Richard) May, Stephen May, Miranda Kennedy and Carson Kennedy; siblings, Max Lake, Roger (Connie) Lake, and Bonnie (Tom) Deuter. Also preceding him in passing was his brother, Tom. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday May 29, 2021 at Nine Mile United Methodist Church, 6303 Winters Rd with visitation two hours prior, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow the service. Memorials may be made to Nine Mile United Methodist Church or Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
