Keith James Simonis passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024. He was born on July 2, 1952 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Joseph Francis and Betty Marie (Colvin) Simonis. Keith served in the armed forces for many years before retiring as a major. He was one of the first male nurses to graduate from Purdue University. Keith also received a master's in business administration from Old Dominion University. He is survived by his siblings, Lisa (Herschel) Tatum, Tim (Cora) Simonis, Norman (Jill) Horne; seven nieces; and one nephew. Keith's brother, Michael Simonis, followed him in passing in January of 2025. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 11:00 am, 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46825, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
