Keith Sweers, beloved husband, stepfather, PawPaw, brother, and friend, passed away surrounded by love. He will be remembered for his generous heart, remarkable abilities, and his unwavering willingness to help anyone in need.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marty; his stepson, David; his cherished granddaughter, Leah; his brothers, Dave and Denny; and his sister, Ruth.
Keith was a true craftsman—an exceptional carpenter, plumber, and electrician. There was truly nothing he couldn’t fix, build, or figure out. Whether it was a small repair or a major project, he approached everything with patience, skill, and determination. Friends, family, neighbors, and even strangers knew they could count on Keith; no matter the time or circumstance, he was always ready to lend a hand.
One of his lifelong dreams was to see his ‘69 Camaro fully restored. He followed its restoration with pride and excitement, cherishing the idea of bringing a piece of his past back to life.
Above all else, Keith will be remembered for his kindness, humility, and the countless ways he showed up for others. His legacy lives on in the things he built, the people he helped, and the family who loved him deeply.
A private service will be held at the cemetery for immediate family. A memorial for Keith will be held on May 30th, his birthday, at The Pointe Church on 5335 Bass Rd., Fort Wayne 46808. Visitation will be from 10a.m to 11a.m, with the service at 11a.m.
Keith will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
