Kelly Renee Barnhart

Kelly was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on May 8, 1973. She graduated from New Haven High School and continued on to get a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Ivy Tech in 1996.

Kelly worked as a nurse in many different nursing homes and rehabilitation centers. She was extremely passionate about her career and loved all of her patients dearly. She enjoyed crocheting, arts and crafts with the grandchildren, and always loved her puppy dogs.

Kelly was married to Terry K. Barnhart on July 12, 2016 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. They were married for 7 years. Kelly is survived by her husband, Terry Barnhart; children: Jessica (Brandon) Scott, Kerry (Jessica Brubaker) Barnes, Miranda Barnes, and Nicholas Barnes; stepchildren: Katrina Barnhart, Chris Barnhart, and Larry Barnhart; brothers: Gary Harp, Jeff (Denise) Vanderford, Kerry Vanderford, Blake (Cynthia Vanderford; sister, Mendi Funk; 11 grandchildren and many other beloved friends and family members.

Kelly was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Vanderford; her mother, Charlene Lois-Vandreford; her brother, Terry Miller; and her niece, Amanda Uroiste.

The memorial service will b held at 5:00 pm, with visitation one hour prior, on Monday, July 15, 2024 at First Christian Church, 6404 S. Calhoun Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Arrangements entrusted to Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services-Mungovan.
