Kenneth Galloway, age 84, proud father of three children, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away peacefully on October 26, 2024 with family by his side.
He was born in Gary, Indiana in 1940 to Eleanor Tippmann and Argyll Galloway. Kenneth was educated and went on to work as an electrician, a business manager of Local Union 305, and then in charge of setting up Apprenticeship programs for the United States Department of Labor, all proving his dedication and hard work to help support his family.
Kenneth was a devoted husband to his wife of 59 years and loving father to Amy Tanner, Jill Mills, and Patrick Galloway (Melinda Torbett) who dearly miss him and the life lessons he imparted in them. He took great pride in being a parent, especially in raising them to be the strong and independent adults they are and was proud to see them raise their own.
Kenneth was preceded in death by mother, Eleanor Tippmann; father, Argyll Galloway; brothers-in-law, Raymond Shank and Richard Sorg; niece, Cindy Shank; and sister, Kathy Sorg.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Galloway; sisters, Mary Jane Shank and Marge Manasco; three children, nine grandchildren, and six and a half great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Kenneth will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley. Following the visitation will be a funeral service at 3:00 pm at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46825.
