Kenneth A. Hoefelmeyer

KENNETH HOEFELMEYER, 72, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010, 7:05 p.m., at Lutheran Hospital. Born May 28, 1938, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Edwin Hoefel-meyer and Evelyn (Peek). He served in the Air Force and for 20 years on the Fort Wayne Police Reserve. He was a fireman for the Fort Wayne Fire Dept., retiring after 25 years of service in 1999. Surviving are his wife, Susan C. Deuel of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Debra (Dennis)Addis of Cromwell and Cheryl (Rex)Hoefelmeyer of Fort Wayne;Son Donald(Karmen) Hoefelmeyer of Ft. Wayne; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly; and sister, Sally Hoefelmeyer. A Celebration of Life service is from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, at the home of Don Hoefelmeyer, 1811 Glenlivet Ct., Fort Wayne.
