Khin Aye, 62, was granted her wings on Thursday, December 3, 2020. Her final days were spent surrounded by her loving family. Khin was born May 25, 1958 in Pha-an, Karen, Burma. She was a daughter of the late U Maung Aye and Daw Sein May. Khin Aye has touched so many people throughout her short, but very memorable life. Some would say she was very kind, giving, loving, accepting, outspoken and one of the funniest people they have ever met. Her blunt words and realness will never be forgotten. She was a very dedicated mother and wife, and she did whatever it took to give her husband and kids the world. Even though her life seemed short to many, those who were touched by her understood the quality of her existence far exceeded the quantity of time that she lived. She will truly be missed, but never forgotten. She is survived by her husband, Mya Than; children, Kori Ko Ko (Win Pyay Than Tun), Zin Win Htut (Reginald Miller), and Kyaw Zaw Lin (Joachima Hoot); grandchildren, Daijaryon Cooper, Myat Win Ko, Zinn Win Ko, Price Miller, Kolden Win Ko, and Zayden Win Ko; brother, U Thaung Naing; and sisters, Daw Myint Myint Aye, and Daw Kyi Kyi Sein. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Klaehn, Fahl, Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46819 with burial to follow the service at Lindenwood Cemetery.
