Kim "Pops" Hinton, 72, passed away on December 23, 2025. He was born on January 23, 1953, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, son of the late Wilbur and Betty (Shafer) Hinton. Pops enjoyed watching tv, playing poker and euchre. Most of all he enjoyed the time spent with his family. He is survived by his son, Heath (Melissa) Wood; daughter, Heather Wood; step-children, Andrew (Jen) Rodriguez and Trevor Rodriguez; step-grandchildren, Candra and Camden Rodriguez, Emma, Izzy, and Tonita Cavasos-Dyke; sisters, Beth Ickes and Pam Kruse; brother, Wade (Laura) Hinton; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who were all very special to him. A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 24, 2025 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home 6424 Winchester Road Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819.
