

Kjell Pedersen, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully and entered eternal life on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Kingston of Dupont, surrounded by friends and family and his beloved sweetheart, Nancy, of 62 years. Kjell retired from International Navistar after 38 years as a Sr. Project Development Engineer. He was born February 11, 1934 in Oslo, Norway and was the son of the late Erling and Aase Pedersen. He completed his last 2 years of college at Case Institute in Cleveland, Ohio and earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering where he met Nancy and they were married June 30, 1956. Kjell truly enjoyed the outdoors, from camping to sports, especially soccer, golf, tennis, and archery. He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Juhasz), of 62 years; sons, Kenneth (Kim), Eric (Cheryl), David (Cathy); grandchildren, Jason (Heather), Bradley (Sarah), Matt, Tyler (Sadie), Alec, Ashley, Kristopher (Rose), and Whitney (Josh); and great-grandchildren, Tayler, Jakob, Conner, Rylan, Griffin, Kamdyn, Addison, Sabastian, Katherine, Tommy, and Corra; and cousins, Arve and Jahn. He was also preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jorunn. Funeral service is 1:30 pm, Friday, November 16, 2018 at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home-Maplewood Park, 4017 Maplecrest Road. Calling is Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Homes-Maplewood Park.
