Larry Kenton Bailey

Larry Kenton Bailey, 86, of Fort Wayne, IN and previously of Waynedale, IN, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born in Warren, IN on May 28, 1940, to the late Charles Kenton Bailey and Mary Miriam (Bardsley) Bailey.

Larry worked as Office Manager and Accountant for Cover-All Rental Service for 27 years. He later retired from Fred Toenges Shoes as CFO. Larry enjoyed traveling, food, and nature. He spent his free time working on construction projects around the house.

Larry will be remembered for his strength, generosity and Christian values. His quick smile and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on those that knew him. He was dedicated to serving God, family, church and work.

Larry is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 65 years, Joyce Ann (Rothgeb) Bailey; and his children, Kenton L. Bailey and Douglas C. and Amy (Reynolds) Bailey. He was grandfather to six grandchildren; Westley Bailey, Spencer and Karisa (Miller) Bailey, Erik Bailey, Madison Bailey, Isabella Bailey and Gabriella Bailey. He had two great-grandchildren, Ember Bailey and Zander Bailey. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marsha Kay (Bailey) Sipe.

Visitation will be held at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Foster Park, 6301 Fairfield Avenue, Fort Wayne, (46807) on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm.

Funeral service will take place at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Foster Park, 6301 Fairfield Avenue, Fort Wayne, (46807) on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 12:00 pm with visitation one hour prior.

Committal Service directly following at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne (46804).
