Larry D. Richardson, 79, passed away on March 13, 2026, having been born on February 20, 1947, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, son of the late Maynard S. and Hilda M. (Bailey) Richardson. Larry was self employed in the concrete industry and enjoyed gardening. He is survived by his children, Steve Richardson, Tonia (Gregory) Cole, Charlotte Terhaar, and Dawn Swanson; grandchildren, Melissa, Cynthia, Samantha, Michael, and Kimberly; several great grandchildren; and siblings, Bill Richardson, Gary (Teresa) Richardson, Carl (Gina) Richardson, and Lorrie Richardson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Beverly Putt, Sharon Saylor, Barbara Richardson, Neal Richardson, Carol Richardson, and Joseph Sparks. Visitation will be held at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819, on March 18, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and again on March 19, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm., with a graveside service at Prairie Grove Cemetery, Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809, on March 19, 2026, at 1:30 pm.
