

Laura S. Creek, 56, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025. Born on November 2, 1968, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to parents Troy and Rose (Whitley) Roberts, Laura was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend to so many. She was a 1987 graduate of Earlsboro High School in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Laura would marry the love of her life, Michael Creek, on August 17, 1993, and together they would spend almost 32 cherished years creating lasting memories.
Laura was previously a volunteer with the Red Cross, generously giving her time to support others in need. In her free time, she loved watching rodeos and sports. As an avid reader, Laura was especially fond of novels by Nora Roberts and J.D. Robb. A creative spirit, Laura loved to crochet. She cherished the outdoors and spent many happy hours with her beloved dogs, Zipper, Bailey, and Sadie. A true people person, Laura had a vibrant social life. She treasured the moments she spent with friends, often going out to hear local bands and enjoy the lively atmosphere. Known for her fiery personality and quick wit, Laura was truly a spitfire—full of energy, warmth, and a deep love for life and those around her. Friends and family will forever hold the memories made with Laura close to their hearts.
Laura is survived by her husband, Michael Creek; those she loved like a mother, Ashley Nelms, Jason Sherman, Misty Sherman, Brooke Phillips; father-in-law, Duane Creek; sister-in-law, Wanda Whitaker; and many relatives back home in Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law, Peggy Creek; and brother-in-law, Mark Creek.
