Laura L. Hoffman, 84, of Fort Wayne passed on April 22, 2026. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on June 9, 1941, daughter of the late Harold and Leona (Shearer) Hoffman. Laura was a school bus aide for several years. She had a great passion for animals, especially horses. Laura had been a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church for several years. She is survived by her sister, Kay Riemen; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Allan "Butch" Hoffman; and sister, Janice Shinaberry. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at St. Henry's Catholic Church, 2929 East Paulding Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46816, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819. She will be laid to rest at Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Fort Wayne or Mass Intentions.
