Lawson was a blessing to all. His smile would light up a room. Lawson’s kind heart can never be duplicated. He was a kind soul. Your baby girl’s Shirley and Chasity will forever miss you.
Lawson is survived by his loving daughter, Chasity Saylor; siblings, Daniel (Tondra) Rodgers, Velma (Willie) Conwell, Gloria Rogers Underwood, Lavonia (Richard) Perry, and Shirley (Markus) Malone, all of Fort Wayne, IN; special friend, Beverly Bramley; God Sister, Michelle Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews and longtime friends. In addition to his parents, Lawson Sr. and Ella Underwood, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Will Conwell I.
A funeral service to honor Lawson's life and legacy will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Shiloh Baptist Church, 2200 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior at the church. He will be laid to rest at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Arrangements by D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne.
