She was a resident of Lutheran Life Villages in Fort Wayne for the past five years. She retired from Marion Community Schools, Marion, IN, and was a member of Avalon Missionary Church, Fort Wayne. Viewing will be at Klaehn, Fahl, Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne from 2 p.m.-4 p.m., and 6 p.m.-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 17, 2016; the service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, February18, 2016 – with viewing one hour prior to the service.
Leona is predeceased by her husband, Howard B. Golding, and grandson, Matthew Howard Golding. She is survived by son, Michael (Carla) Golding, Moline, IL; daughter, Robyn (Paul) Nicholls, Fort Wayne, 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
