Libby was very passionate about collecting antiques, and she loved to dance. She loved spending time with all her grandchildren, and she had the basement well stocked with toys for their many visits. She was an amazing Italian cook and enjoyed hosting family dinners and holiday meals at her home. Libby was always the best dressed lady, regardless of where she was, and loved to wear her “bling”. She was a wonderful and faithful woman of God.
She is survived by her children, Debbie (Terry) Argerbright, Diana (Dan) Fitch, both of Fort Wayne, IN and Darlene (Jim) Boukal of LaVista, NE; stepsons, Mickey (Tish) Lawson of El Paso, TX; Jeff (Lisa) Lawson of Fort Wayne, IN; son-in-law, Mike Westrick of New Haven, IN; 22 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Libby was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Bobby G. Lawson; daughter, Dori Westrick; grandson, Joshua Salyer; great-grandchild, Norah McKenzie; brother, Salvator DeNova; and sister, Mary Miller.
The funeral service will be 11:00 am. Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, 8611 Mayhew Road, Fort Wayne, IN. with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN. Committal and burial at Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Grace Point Church of the Nazarene food pantry.
