Linda Barrett Causey

Linda was born on January 12th, 1960, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Oakley and Nezzie Causey.

Linda graduated from Wayne High School in 1978. Following graduation, she worked at Power Wheels, Tokheim Manufacturer, Sears Catalog, Fort Wayne Community Schools as a bus aide, and Little Thinkers Child Care.

Linda was raised up under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Clyde Adams at Union Baptist Church where she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. Later she Joined Bethesda Missionary Baptist under the leadership of Pastor T.A. Smith where she re-dedicated her life to Christ.

Linda loved spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren.

Linda leaves to remember and cherish her life her daughter, Shaquana (Cornelius) Martin; granddaughters Raynesha Causey, Kyaira Causey and Jalayzia Causey; grandsons, Derek Causey, Alan Causey, Julius Causey and C.J. Martin; great-grandchildren, Da’Niyah, Brooke and De’Mir; two sisters, Pamela Causey Preston and Paula (Billy) West; six brothers, Oakley Jr. (Patrica), Raymond (Donna), Gregory (Daphne), Toney (Rachelle), Kenneth (Donna), and Dennis Causey; special lifelong friends, Kay (Walters) Holloway, Renee Barksdale, Kathy Graves and Theresa Woods; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her son, Michael (Mike Mike); her youngest daughter, Ashley and her parents, Oakley and Nezzie Causey.

Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 pm, Friday, April 4, 2025 at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Foster Park, 6301 Fairfield Ave, Fort Wayne, IN with calling one hour prior.
