Linda Lou Elliott

Linda Lou Elliott, 71, passed away May 18, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana. She was born June 10, 1952 in Fort Wayne, IN, the daughter of the late Robert Edward and Gloria Katherine Carpenter. She graduated from Bishop Luers High School. Linda spent the majority of her working years as a Para professional through Fort Wayne community schools. She was a very involved mother and grandmother, that would play just about anything they would want her to play; from barbies to go fish. Gunner and Rosie were her best furry friends. When all of the kids grew up and moved on, she had her dogs to keep her company. Linda helped Coach Tom’s little league and spent most of her life playing the role of mother and father. Our family will forever cherish her memory.

Linda is survived by her children, Tom (Rachel) Morgan of Southside, AL; Amanda (Eddie Dexter) Morgan of Goshen, IN; Kacie Elliott of Fort Wayne, IN; honorary daughter, Amanda (Eric) Copeland, grandchildren, Bryson, Abi, Kylee, Calee, Alayna, Daniel, Mazie, Alexys, and Layne.

Private celebration will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, IN.
