LINDA R. GILBERT, 62, of New Haven, died on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, 6:55 p.m., at her residence. Born Sept. 5, 1948, in Middlesboro, KY., she was the daughter of the late Worley Gilbert and Vivian M. (Swangin). She enjoyed Bingo and her grandchildren. Surviving are her sons, Greg (Stacy) Gilbert, and Jamie (Julie) Gilbert; brother, Brian (Londa) Gilbert; sister, Janice Saylor; and grandchildren, Tyler, Madison, Hannah, Isaac, and Damian. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn A. Copley. Memorial service is 1 p.m. Monday at Harvest Church of God, 5112 Moeller Road, New Haven. Preferred memorials to the family.
