Lois Cora Schmidt, 101, of Fort Wayne passed away, Monday, May 1, 2023. She was born Nov. 4, 1921 in Westminster, OH. Lois was a beautician by trade and she taught Sunday school at Calvary Temple for many years.
She is survived by her daughter, Roberta Abbott; four grandchildren, Dale Pierce; Sharon Housholder; Chris Faherty; and Marla Faherty Quaintance; six great-grandchildren, Kerry Housholder; Sarah Housholder; Alex Faherty; Katie Faherty; Ben Hogle and Noah Hogle; and one great-great-grandson, Mason Carey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Schmidt; her daughter, Janet Faherty; and her four siblings.
Per Lois’s wishes there will be no services.
