Lonnie Lynn Barnes, 75, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023. Lonnie was born on February 3, 1948, in Fort Wayne. He worked at many jobs doing odds and ends but mostly could be found help care for family. In his free time, he enjoyed bird watching, karaoke, old movies and music, Little Debbies, RC Cola, and especially, family gatherings. Surviving family include his brother-in-law, Verlin Gray; nieces and nephews, Vance (Kimberly) Gray, Barry (Vickie) Gray, Dora Gaunt, Patricia (Sean) Berning, and Robert Gray. He was preceded in passing by his mother, Betty Barnes; and sisters, Patsy Smith and Bonny Gray. Per Lonnie's request, no services will be held at this time.
