Lucia "Lucy" Rivera

Lucia “Lucy” Rivera, 83, of rural Yoder passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022. She was born on December 13, 1938 in Fruitvale, Texas, a daughter of the late Guadalupe and Petra (Guerrero) Flores. She worked at General Electric for 35 years before retiring in 1999. In her free time, she enjoyed working in her yard. Surviving family include her husband of 55 years, John Rivera; sisters, Gracie Alcalan, Susanna Coonrod, Jackie Sanchez, and Tulip Santos; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her siblings, Margarita Bowers, Jane Rash, Joe, Angel, and Lupe Flores, and Ola Mae Larson. Private family services will be held. Greenlawn Funeral Home, Fort Wayne is handling arrangements. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Condolences may be left online at www.greenlawnmpfh.com.
