Lucile "Peg" Zimmermann

Lucile "Peg" Zimmermann, 84, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Lutheran Life Villages in Fort Wayne. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, Peg was the daughter of the late Albert and Elsie England. Peg worked at Mutual Federal Savings Bank in Muncie for many years prior to her retirement. Peg was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Muncie where she served as secretary. She was most recently a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne. Peg loved being at Lake Webster, where she enjoyed spending time with her family and fishing. Surviving are her daughters, Lou Ann (Charles) Presti of Fort Wayne, Janet Zimmermann of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Anthony Presti, and Christina (Kreig Voreis) Presti. Peg was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Zimmermann, and sister, Martha Barkhau. Service is 2:00 pm, Friday, August 4, 2017 at Lutheran Life Villages Memorial Chapel, 6701 S. Anthony Blvd. with calling from 12:00 pm until the service. A graveside service will be held at Concordia Cemetery in Indianapolis at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 5, 2017. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne- Clothing for Students or Grace Lutheran Church in Muncie, Indiana. D.O.
