Lucille T. Lamott, 88, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday September 18, 2013, at Covington Manor, Fort Wayne. Born in Bowling Green, Ohio, she was one of fourteen children of the late Fred and Anna Laura Heinze.
She is survived by her children, James (Elsie) Ditslear, Jane Platt, Diane (Roy) Crowell, Nan (Ned) Smith and Paul (Janice) Ditslear; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two sisters and five brothers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert N. Lamott.
Funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday September 21, at St. Henry’s Catholic Church, 3029 Paulding Road, Fort Wayne. Calling will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Friday September 20, at Klaehn Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to masses to be said in Lucille’s name or to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
