Luis C. Esquivel, 80, of Fort Wayne, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 28, 2015. He was born on June 18, 1935 in San Antonio, TX. Luis worked for Catholic Cemetery for over 25 years. He is survived by his sons, Luis (Beth Ann) Esquivel II, Antonio (Betty) Esquivel, Ramon Esquivel, Robert (Mary) Esquivel and Jose (Bertilia) Esquivel; daughters, Lupe Barrera and Theresa Esquivel; 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jesusita, of 60 years; his parents Jose and Dominga Esquivel; daughter, Victoria Phillips and son-in-law Adrian Barrera. Mass of Cristian Burial will be at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Thursday September 3, 2015 at 10am with calling 1 hour prior. Calling will be at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home 1327 N.Wells St. on Wednesday September 2, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm with a rosary service at 3:45pm. Burial at Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
