Luke Matthew Shaneyfelt, 33, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at his home. He was born June 2, 1987 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Luke was recently engaged in February and was looking forward to having a new baby on the way in November. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, attending The Branch of Christ Ministries, and spending time with his family and friends. He treasured the time spent with his children. He is survived by his five children, Andi, Bryson, Lilianna, Lucaslee, and Xavier; mother, Naydean (Jeff Hobbs) Bell of Fort Wayne; father, Richard “Rick” (Rosie) Shaneyfelt of Bucyrus, Ohio; sisters, Natasha Shaneyfelt of Fort Myers, Fla., and Ashley Adamonis of Fort Wayne; maternal grandmother, Theresa Mabbitt of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; maternal grandfather, John Zimmerman of Fort Wayne; fiancé, Nadia Baxter of Fort Wayne; and half-brothers, Charles and Michael Garretson, both of Fort Myers, Fla. He was also preceded in death by his son, Aden; brother, Robert Shaneyfelt; and brother-in-law, Billy Adamonis. Funeral Service is 3pm on Monday, August 24, 2020 at Advantage-Mungovan Funeral Home, 2114 S. Calhoun St., Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior. Pastor Joe Simpson officiating.
