It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Lula Mae Robinson, a compassionate and devoted individual, who passed from this life on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on July 27, 1948, in Montgomery, Alabama, Lula was known for her generous, hard-working, and honest nature. She spent her early years in Alabama before moving to Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she became a cherished member of the community.

After relocating to Fort Wayne, Lula gained employment with the Hilton Hotel and Parkview Hospital retiring with 25 years of service. She was recognized for her inspirational and kind-hearted service. Her career demonstrated her loyalty and dedication, leaving a lasting impact on those she worked with.

Lula is survived by her companion of many years, Walter Hendrix, Jr., her brother, Henry Robinson, and her sisters, Ella Jo Dunn, Mary Ann Broughton, Margaret Cobb and Freda Hatten; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, a special niece, Janette Crews Hawkins; special friends, Earl Folks, Corrine Prather, Sheila Folks, Alethia Jackson, Shahalini Jackson and Earl Jackson and other friends who will remember her thoughtful and humorous spirit.

She was a faithful member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church where she enjoyed serving the Lord. Lula loved spending time with her family, she also enjoyed music, cooking and cleaning. Her patient and loyal nature will be missed by all who knew her.

Lula was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Eamer Dean (nee'. Hutchins) Robinson; her son, Lee Marvin Robinson; her sisters, Ophelia Ellis, Bertha Crews, and Ruby Hutchins; and her brothers, Theodore Roosevelt Hutchins, Richard M. Hutchins, Arthur Hutchins, Jr., and Sterling Willis Hutchins.

In gratitude, we acknowledge that while we loved Lula dearly, we know God loved her best. Her legacy of kindness, devotion, patients and loyalty will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
