Marcella G. Gamble, 100, passed away Jan. 5, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Matilda Johnson. She worked for Sears as a catalog sales associate and volunteered for St. Joseph Hospital. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and Catherine’s Academy.
Surviving are her grandchildren Lori (Geoff) Hastings, Kelly (Keith) Naugle, and Brian Gamble; step-grandchildren Dr. Justina (Troy) Girod, Amber (Brock) Fleming, Charity (Ted) Murphy, Kalie (Joel) Ellert, Kasey (Beth) Krouse and Tegan (Ryan) Fredrickson; 11 great grandchildren; and daughter in-law Judy Gamble.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dallas, daughter Kathleen Gamble and sons Stephen and Gary Gamble.
Funeral Mass will be at 11am Monday Jan. 12, 2015 at St. Joseph – Hessen Castle 11337 Old US Hwy 27 South, with visitation 1 hour prior. Visitation will also be 1-4pm Sunday Jan. 11 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home 6424 Winchester Rd. Rosary service will be at 1pm Sunday at the funeral home.
