Margaret Helen Arrington

Margaret Helen Arrington, 92 passed away Friday May 7, 2021 at Parkview Hospital Randallia. She was born in Hawesville, KY January 24, 1929 to the late Coy and Clara DeJarnette. She was a Directory Assistance Operator for GTE for 24 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Margaret enjoyed embroidery and made wonderful gifts for her family and friends. Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 74 years, Marshall Arrington of Fort Wayne, IN; daughters Connie L (Richard) Igney of Fort Wayne, IN; Coletta A Prewitt of Mitchell, IN; 7 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Rudd DeJarnette, Johnnie Scherer, Mary E. Evans, Anna Sodtman, Thornton DeJarette, Arlene Richardson and Clara Claypool. Funeral service will be 10 am Thursday May 13, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home 4017 Maplecrest Road Fort Wayne, IN with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also Wednesday May 12, 2021 from 4-7 pm. “Masks are required at the funeral home". Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery Fort Wayne, IN. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation.
