Margaret F Bridges

MARGARET F. BRIDGES, 92, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016. Born in Indianapolis, Ind. on April 22, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Forrest and Mary Frazier. Margaret was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the Medical Auxiliary of Allen County, and the Indiana State Auxiliary. Although Margaret had many activities and interest, her primary focus was her role as a daughter, sister, loving wife, and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children, Barbara L. Parker, Donna L. (Steve) Riethmiller, Karen E. Schlatter, William F. (Anne) Bridges, Robert L. (Denise) Bridges, and Meribeth (Al) Figel; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and sister, Charlotte E. Walker. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, W. Lloyd Bridges M.D.; and son-in-law, Rick Parker. Funeral service is 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with visitation two hours prior. The Rev. Douglas Vogel officiating. Entombment at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to Parkview Hospice.
