Margaret E. Nonnemacher Deermer

MARGARET E. DEERMER, 88, of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, at Parkview Hospital. Born Jan. 21, 1923, in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Jeannette (Sutter) Nonnemacher. She worked as a Unit Clerk at Parkview Hospital for 14.5 years, retiring in 1985 and was a member of Parkview Ambassadors Club. Surviving are sons, Robert (Maxine) and James (Shirley) Deermer, both of Fort Wayne; daughters, Bonnie Deermer and Penny Voors, both of Fort Wayne; brother, Donald "Sam" Nonnemacher of Columbus, Ohio; five grandchildren, Beau Deermer of Fort Wayne, Ryan Voors of Fishers, Kristin (Fred) Nieno of Fort Wayne, Justin Deermer of South Bend and Coral Deermer of Fort Wayne; great-granddaughter, Za'Riyah Deermer. She was preceded in death by brother, Clarence "Pete" Nonnemacher; and son-in-law, Frank Voors. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W. Wayne St. with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Chuck Fenwick officiating.
