Reading that Margie was proud of her penmanship reminded me of one of the memories I have of her. Before 2007, The Salvation Army hand addressed all of our Christmas donation requests and signed them. There were easily 1,000 or more envelopes to address. Margie hand addressed all of the envelopes and would eagerly call me saying, "I am finished with these, can you bring me more?" I took more to her at home a few times because she was so anxious to help with this project. You could definitely see Christ's love in her face.
