Margie Lou (Kumfer) Christoff, formerly of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022, in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin at the age of 92. Born on March 13, 1930, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of Edith and Harry Kumfer. Margie was a graduate of Elmhurst High School. She married Tom Christoff on June 19, 1951 and they lived in Fort Wayne for all 67 years of their marriage before his passing. Margie moved to Lake Geneva when Tom passed away in 2018. She was a devoted wife and a wonderful mother and grandmother. After she retired, she became an avid golfer. Margie is survived by her daughters, Carrie (Anthony) Freiberger of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and Amy Christoff of Pasadena, California; granddaughter, Elyse (Jonathan Eessalu) Freiberger of Chicago, Illinois; and niece, Gina (Paul) Hillie Refakis. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Constance “Connie” Hillie.
