When someone we love goes home to be our Lord our grief us great. We know they are in a better place. Our hearts are sadden for our loss. I know I will see Marian again, but until then I will miss her terribly. Marian was with me during my chemo. She encouraged to to keep fighting. After my chemo was finished she said we needed to do something crazy. My first remark was "no tattoo" . We went to the mall and got our ears pierced again. That made me two and her three. Every Monday for well over a year we had lunch at Red Lobster. We had shrimp scampi and crab legs. We were in heaven when they had crab legs all you can eat for $15.99. She ate 2 1/2 platters and I ate 3. We had such a good time eating that day. We have laughed till we hurt and cried a river over these 45 years.
In our hearts we were sisters. My heart is breaking from her passing. I will see you again. Love you my sister.

Aww...so sorry to hear that you have passed on Aunt Marian. I haven't seen you in many years, but I do remember the times I spent with you and Uncle John when I was younger. When I heard you had passed the thing that crossed through my memory was when I would come and stay the weekends and you would take me to Church with you on Sundays, and we would go Strawberry Picking. I will make sure to take my kids, to keep your memory alive. You will be missed. I am Henny's daughter Vickie's oldest daughter for those of you wondering.
