Marian graduated from South Bend Central High School in 1954, earning the nickname “Lil Bit” and was an assistant to the owner’s of Korte Paper Company from 1980-2006.
Marian enjoyed crossword puzzles, needle point, embroidery, furniture renovation and tending to her flowers and plants. She was a strong woman, but at the same time a very compassionate person and had a big heart for children.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Thomas M. Rohr Sr. of Fort Wayne, IN; son, Thomas M. Rohr Jr. of Fort Wayne, IN; daughter, Vicki Poe of Dayton, OH; son, David A. Rohr of Fort Wayne, IN; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Marian was one of fourteen children and is survived by a sister, Patty Hardin.
Funeral Service will be 8:00 pm Thursday, February 20, 2025, at D.O. McComb and Sons, Funeral Homes -Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN with visitation from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
Memorials contributions in Marian's memory may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
