Marilyn Janet Norton passed away on November 30, 2025, at the age of 94. She was born on September 15, 1931 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Victor and Phyllis (Jackson) Ehrhardt. Marilyn loved family time: making Christmas cookies, coloring Easter eggs, getting together for Sunday dinner, and spending time together around the holidays. She also enjoyed coin collecting, puzzles, painting, crafts and bingo.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Nanette (Rick) Elder, Rhonda Kirkwood, Grant (Nola) Norton, and Arthur (Dawn) Norton; and a host of many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, a niece, and a nephew. She is preceded in passing by her sister, Carolyn; son, Roger; great-grandson, Camreen; son-in-law, Tommy; step-grandson, Jeremy; and great-granddaughter, Grace.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, located at 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46819, on December 12, 2025, at 1:00 pm with visitation beginning an hour prior. Burial will follow immediately after services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana, or the Parkinson’s Foundation.
