Marilyn graduated Michigan State University and taught physical education to junior high school girls. She was member of Garden Club, Book Club, and Bridge Club. Marilyn started the Investment Club of Barrington, Illinois. Marilyn was very active in the PTA. She was a Girl Scout Leader, 4-H Leader and sold Doncaster Clothing. She also enjoyed watching her kids run cross-country, track and showing horses. She loved quilting, sewing projects, water skiing and traveling the world with her husband Bob. Marilyn loved spending winters in Punta Gorda, Florida and summers in Gallimere Beach on Lake Huron, Ontario, Canada. Marilyn is survived by her husband, Bob; son Rob (Laurie) Randolph;and son-in-law Gerard Mahoney; daughter Ann (David) Becker; sister Janet Kaehler and brother Earle (Tisa) Spohn, Jr.; grandsons Aaron Mahoney, Matthew Randolph, Jonathan, Justin and Jeffrey Becker; granddaughters, Shannon Mahoney; Lauren Becker Katie Randolph and several nieces and nephews. Marilyn was preceded in death by daughter Jean Mahoney.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
