Marion Murie Jasperse

Marion was a devoted, loving wife to Jay Jasperse and an exceptional and loving mother to her two sons, Jorge Jasperse and Jon Jasperse. Marion was truly an amazing person that always saw the good in everyone and would never hesitate to help those in need. Despite her health issues, Marion kept a cheerful outlook, and cherished spending time with those she loved most.

Marion found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved going to the casino and playing slot machines, as well as visiting zoos and aquariums. She enjoyed shopping and dining out, especially Italian food, which was her favorite. She took considerable pride in making cabbage rolls for her family, and winning games of Yahtzee.

Marion also loved her granddogs, Blue, Bella, and Maddie. Her love and care for her family and friends was truly unconditional.

She is survived by her husband, Jay; sons, Jorge (Danielle) Japerse and Jon (Cayleigh) Elmer; sisters, Barbara Hewitt, Wilfred Galey, and Dorothy Simmer; nieces and nephews, Erika, Shelly, Christopher, Courtney, and Shane. Marion was preceded in death by her brothers, Jim Galey and Harold Galey.

Marion’s warmth, love, and vibrant spirit will be dearly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Celebration of Life is 1:00 pm, Saturday, June 7, 2025, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley, 1320 East Dupont Rd, Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior.
