MARJORIE J. BARNER, 83, of Fort Wayne, died on Thursday, March 17, 2011, at Provena Sacred Heart Home, Avilla. Born Jan. 3, 1928, in Goshen, she was the daughter of Russel and Mary (Lewett) Smith. She was a graduate of Indiana School for the Deaf; member of Auxiliary of Frat, Auxiliary UMCD; and was former editor of Silent Link. She is survived by a daughter, Christine J. (Louis) Krock of LaOtto; grandsons, Louis C. Krock Jr. of Fort Wayne and Christopher W. (Leslie) Krock of Garrett; and two great-grandchildren, Sydney and Samantha. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2011, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., with visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery.
