

Mark Rudolph DeVito, 54, reunited with the Lord on June 6, 2026. A resident of Jackson, Michigan, Mark was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on July 16, 1971 to parents Rudolph “Rudy” Felix DeVito and Colleen Sharon (O’Keefe) DeVito.
Mark was an extremely intelligent individual, well beloved by his friends, families, and colleagues. He was a 1989 graduate of Northrop High School, and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Nuclear Engineering at Purdue University. He also extended his education with graduate studies in nuclear medicine. Mark’s career was focused on test engineering, with an array of patents throughout 29 years. Over the last 12 years, he was dedicated to his role in Injector Design and Development Engineering with Tenneco. A role he spoke of very proudly.
In his free time, Mark loved designing models through 3D printing. He was also a big fan of Star Wars. Beyond all else, he loved spending time with friends and family. Whether it was going to reunions, having dinner with friends, and visiting family.
Surviving Mark are his sister, Kathy DeVito; and nephews, Daniel McKimmie, Aaron McKimmie, Ross McKimmie, Will Matravers. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rudy DeVito and Colleen DeVito; sister, Cindy McCall; and his very beloved pug, Pugsley.
A funeral service in Mark’s honor will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 2PM at Advantage Funeral Home - Highland Park 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46825, with calling taking place two hours prior. He will be laid to rest at Highland Park Cemetery. A luncheon at the funeral home will be held after the committal service.
