Mark William Krueger, 67, of Churubusco, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. Born on April 22, 1955, in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada, he was a son of the late John E. Krueger, and Mercedes (Mettler) Krueger, who survives.
Mark was an avid sports fan, but in particular, he greatly enjoyed going to Komet hockey games and watching the Indianapolis Colts. Other activities he enjoyed were camping in Brown County State Park with the family and going to Bible study at Pathway Community Church. But most of all, he really loved being around family and making memories with his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Trina (Rutherford) Krueger of Churubusco, IN; children, Megan (Anthony) Sparks of Noblesville, IN, Thomas Krueger of Fort Wayne, IN, Joseph Krueger of Fort Wayne, IN, and Hayley Krueger of Churubusco, IN; siblings, Laura (Jerry) Nix of Cumming, GA, and Tim (Wendy) Krueger of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Edison and Owen Sparks. In addition to his father, John E. Krueger who died on April 14, 2015, he is preceded in death by his sister, Amy Krueger, on September 17 of 2011.
A Mass of Christian burial to honor Mark's life and legacy will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 220 North Main Street, Churubusco, Indiana, with calling one hour prior. A calling will also be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, with a rosary service to begin at 7:30 pm. He will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery, Churubusco, Indiana.
