Markeis Lamar Leslie

Markeis Lamar Leslie was born July 30, 1989 in Milwaukee, WI. He was the loving son of LaRhonda Bryant and Walter Leslie Jr. Markeis graduated from Northrop High School.He had a strong steady church upbringing at True Love Missionary Baptist Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was faithfully involved in the youth choir, Junior Deacons, youth usher board, and other church curriculum. Markeis passionately loved all his family and friends. He possessed an endearing love for his mother that words cannot express. He protected her like a secret service agent. Markeis displayed a father like love for his nieces and nephews and mustered up everlasting energy for them. He loved every aspect of sports, with whom he enjoyed talking about with his father and grandfather. He loved the Lakers and Green Bay Packers. His big brother Walt used to call him Steven A. Smith because of his never ending knowledge of players and stats. Markeis was an all love no drama peaceful man. He loved to laugh and play jokes on those he adored. He was also known for giving nice big warm wholesome hugs. Markeis Lamar Leslie received his wings and flew to the Lord on Sunday December 9, 2018 at the age of 29 years old. He was preceded in homegoings by his Uncle William Lamar Bryant, great grandmothers Essie Hill and Jessie Hill, and great grandfathers Robert Hill and Charlie Leslie.He leaves to cherish his precious unforgettable memories to his dear mother LaRhonda Bryant, father Walter (Nary) Leslie Jr., brothers Walter (Tonee) Bryant-Leslie, Jaquale Leslie, Jamal Bryant, sisters; Jasmine Bryant, Iesha Miller, Shakela Miller, and Zenobia Stevenson, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie and Simone Collins and Mr. and Mrs. Walter and Laura Leslie. Great-Grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Will and Ella Balam, Henry “Hank” Bryant, and Pearline Collins. Uncles, Mark Leslie, Lamar (Gee) Leslie. Aunts Kimberly Leslie, Charmane Bryant. Great Aunts, Melissa Nelson, Mechelle Bryant, Pearl Hill, Jimmie Powell. Great Aunts and Uncles, Robert Hill Jr., Reuben (Dell) Hill, Lamont Bryant, Javon (Lisa) Bryant, Jermaine (Trecie) Norris, Harold Leslie, Jeffrey Hill, Jessie B. Gaines, James Collins, Jesse Collins, Mary Ray, Laverne Hill, Dorothy Collins, and Lydia Collins. Nephews Aidan Leslie, Jayce Miller, and Kayden Leslie. Special childhood friend from Milwaukee Darius Wade.Visitation will be Wednesday December 19, 2018 at Mungovan Simple- 2114 S Calhoun Street Fort Wayne, IN from 6 pm to 8pm. Home going celebration will be Thursday December 20, 2018 at 12 pm with visitation from 10 am to service time. Memorials may be made to LaRhonda Bryant.
