Marsha (Pollos) Brown, 78, of Fort Wayne, passed away on June 13, 2026 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born October 14, 1947, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Phillip and Lena (Mays) Pollos; and sister of the late Phillip and Mitchell Pollos.
Marsha was the devoted and beloved wife of Ronald “Ron” Brown for 58 wonderful years- a partnership built on enduring love, loyalty, laughter, and unwavering support. Together, they created a life rich with family, faith in one another, and countless treasured memories.
To know Marsha was to know kindness. She was a deeply loving, nurturing mother whose warmth made people feel welcomed, comforted, and cared for. Her children, Rachelle Ann Brown and Jasen James, along with stepdaughter, Richelle J. Tracy were the center of her world, and she loved them fiercely and unconditionally. Her family was always her greatest pride and joy.
For many years, Marsha faithfully served as a school secretary at Brentwood Elementary School in Fort Wayne. To students, parents, and staff, she was often much more than a secretary- she was a steady, caring presence and a familiar smile that brightened the day.
Marsha had a special gift for beauty and creativity. Her love for interior design inspired her to open and operate a successful gift shop in Eau Claire, Wis., where her talent for creating welcoming spaces and finding beauty in everyday life flourished.
She also took tremendous pride in standing beside her husband during his successful political campaign, helping support his election to Wisconsin’s 31st State Senate district. She believed deeply in family, commitment, and standing by the people she loved through every chapter of life.
Nothing brought Marsha more happiness than her family. She was a proud and loving grandmother to several treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Time spent with family- sharing stories, laughter, and love meant everything to her.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in knowing Marsha’s legacy lives on in the love she gave so freely, the family she cherished, and the many lives she touched through her compassion and generosity. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of those whose knew and loved her.
“Those we love never truly leave us; they live on in the kindness they shared and the love they gave.”
Private Services are being held by the family. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. There will be a Celebration of Marsha’s Life at a later date. For online condolences, please visit www.greenlawnmpfh.com.
