Martha Clare Bryan, 83, passed away on April 3, 2026. She was born September 24, 1942, in Spartanburg, SC, a daughter of the late Orval and Mary Ruth (Wheeler) Miller. Martha was a beloved presence to all who knew her and a cherished part of the Fort Wayne, IN community.
Martha grew up in Fort Wayne, IN, and graduated from Northside High School in 1961. Shortly thereafter, she married the love of her life, Emory W. Bryan Jr., in 1961. Martha was a devoted homemaker her entire life, raising her three daughters and assisting her husband at his dental practice. Family was, without a doubt, the most important thing to Martha. She loved to decorate for the holidays and host her entire family for holidays and family events.
Martha also loved spending time outdoors in her flower beds. Her family remembers her fondly sitting on her back porch, watching and feeding the birds and other small critters. She cherished the many boating trips she took with her husband over the years. They traveled to many places together and made many memories.
Martha was a member at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. She was a proud member of Teti Sheri Temple No. 60 Daughters of the Nile, a Past Queen, and Order of the Eastern Star #278, a Past Worthy Matron.
Martha is survived by her daughters, Becky (Ed) Tippmann, Bobbie (Sean) Graney, and Renee (Mike) Frederick; grandchildren, Bryan (Brenna) Tippmann; Ali (Nic) Alatza, Anthony (Kynlee) Frederick, Greg (Haley) Tippmann, David (Hannah) Tippmann, Rose Tippmann, Kelly (Brock) Vian, Lauren Graney, and Maggie Graney; and five great-grandchildren.
