Martin (Marty) Eston Shipley, 53, of Ossian, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012 at his home, after he lost a four year battle with cancer. He was born Oct. 29, 1959 in New York. He was employed as a roller operator at Brooks Construction for 22 years. He was a member of Trier Ridge Community Church and International Union of Operating Engineers Local 103. He is survived by his wife, Cindy S. Shipley, of Ossian; daughter, Jamie Mariah Shipley, at home; son, Brandon Michael (Shelley) Shipley, of Fort Wayne; grandson, Kallen Eston Shipley and mother, Romaine Edith Shipley, of Fort Wayne. Funeral Service is 4:00pm Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 at Klaehn, Fahl and Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Rd. Chapel, 6424 Winchester Rd. with calling from 1:00-4:00pm Saturday.
