Mary Jane Bauer, 91, of Angola passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024. Mary was born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania on November 22, 1932, a daughter of the late Charles and Wilhelmina Anderson. She was a Registered Nurse at Lutheran Hospital for over 30 years. Mary Jane was a member of the Council of Aging in Angola. She had a passion for gardening, reading, cooking, and dancing when she was younger. Mary Jane is survived by her children, Catherine (Coe) Huddleston, Gary Bauer, Judy (Casey) Kendregan, Jeff Bauer and Thomas Bauer; grandchildren, Jamie (Jay) Hall, Jeremy Bauer, Travis (Lauren) Huddleston, Wesley Huddleston, Britini Bauer, Cody Bauer and Nichole (Rob) Hamilton; and great-grandchildren, Zaybriel King-Bauer, Zoen King-Bauer, Archer Hall, Aurelia Hall and Caden Huddleston. She was also preceded in passing by her husband of 55 years, Donald C. Bauer; and four siblings. A private family graveside service will be held with a celebration of life gathering at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Council of Aging (COA) in Angola, Indiana.
